One day I woke and down in the dumps about this whole dating thing. At thirty one I should be married with 2 kids and loving husband. Well that is clearly not the case.  I have dated every man that you could possibly think of, successful intelligent men, thuggish men, momma’s boys and the list goes on. Out of all those years and all those men, not one has met my fancy of being with for the rest of my life.

So I had an epiphany, why not share some of my dating adventures, some of my friends dating adventures and some of the policies I now have from those years of dating and some of the dislikes of it all.  Well not before I tell you a little about me.

My Story

I grew up in small town, USA, where the population is 623. Oh yes I am small town girl to my heart but I wanted to go to college so I did. I left the small town for a small city masquerading as a big city.  I found a good job; I worked my way through college. I must say I would party hard and enjoyed life. I met a really nice guy at college and we hit off well. Now he is in my life for the rest of my life. Yes we have a child together.   Doesn’t that sound so happy…? LOL let’s just say we walk on different sides of life. I want more of a successful life while he is in my eyes a little lackadaisical. Leaving him placed me back into the dating world…. We’ve all heard that Ev got headbutted by her new husband Chad Johnson over the past weekend allegedly. This past season of Basketball Wives I did not watch but a few snippets. I did see a few convos where Ev and Chad talked about his overzealous love for women and how that will not change once they were married.

One of our flaws as women is assuming our picachos alone will lock a man down, put a ring on that important finger and stop all temptations men have for outside women will disappear. Well I have news for you, they don’t and your ish is not that damn good if he is a cheater he is a cheater, you can’t change that only he can change IF he wants to. Since Ev did participate in those conversations it really shouldn’t have been no surprise to her when she saw a receipt for some condoms in his whip. He let you know from jump Ev! Honestly I thought Ev was smarter than that.

And please don’t get it twisted, I do NOT condone abuse of any kind. No one deserves that so for this whole situation I feel sorry for her. My advice that I stole from Dr. Maya Angelou is when someone shows you their true self believe it, so Ev you know what he is capable of doing so what are you going to do about it ma? Think about your daughter if anything.

Do you think Ev will take him back? I mean, not to sound like a gold digger but he doesn’t even have a job anymore since the Dolphins kicked him off the team. Damn, that shit’s cray! If that is what that life is about I’m good right where I’m at!

Ingredients:

Directions:

1. In a large skillet, cook beef over medium heat until no longer pink.

2. Meanwhile, cut bread in half lengthwise; hollow out top and bottom of loaf, leaving a ½-inch shell.

3. In a small mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and salsa until blended. Spread inside bread shell, set aside.

4. Drain beef. Stir in taco seasoning.

5. Layer lettuce and tomato in bottom of bread shell, top with beef mixture in cheese. Replace bread top.

6. Serve with corn chips or tortilla chips on the side. Makes 6 servings.

What do you do again?

It doesn’t amaze me the fuckery that comes out of these z-list rapper’s mouths. In the cusp of Frank Ocean’s confession to possibly be bi-sexual or gay rapper (or whatever) Lil Scrappy vehemently responds with this:

“All the real women that love to mess with real men, straight men, we can keep the AIDS situation down, you feel me?”

And if that was not enough fuckery he finishes with:

“…homosexuality is a doorway to AIDS scientifically.”

Does he even know how to spell scientifically? If he was smart, which clearly he is not, he would realize that our community has the highest rate of people with AIDS, mainly black women. So where did he get his info, Boo-Boo nem down the block?

I get it not everyone is ok with gays just like some are still not comfortable with us, interracial dating, Jews, women, rap, the list can go on. Does that give anyone the right to discriminate and belittle people who are not similar to them? Half of the people in the hip hop game is gay or bisexual, so what? Get over it. If stupid people such as Lil Scrappy wouldn’t pop off so much about gays being a problem more would be out and the deaths from teenagers committing suicide because they are shunned would probably decrease. Being gay is not a disease nor is it contagious. I commend Frank for doing what he did although I feel gays should not have to explain their sexuality to anyone because I don’t have to explain mine.

This black boy (he does not deserve to be labeled a man) running around screwing females and rapping about it proudly but he claims gays are the reason for HIV/AIDS? What is Magic Johnson’s reasoning then Lil Scrappy since you know everything? Stop letting your ignorance show, we already see enough on Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta. However keeping your mouth shut might be a little difficult considering those big ass chiclets you call teeth prevents you from doing so.

Last Sunday we witnessed Bey with her boo thang Jay-Z and next to the them the new couple of the moment Kanye and Kim Kardashian front row at the BET Awards. For a minute we thought Ms. Queen Bey was buckling and allowing Kim be her new BFF but Bey apparently has doubts about this thirsty one’s intentions. Kim K’s recent gift does not help her campaign to win in Bey’s world either.

Out of nowhere Kim broke off 5 gs on a diamond baby bracelet for little Blue Ivy with the inscription ‘Love Auntie Kim’. Really Kim? Have you even seen Blue Ivy in person to be calling yourself Auntie? Sources in Bey’s camp are saying she is getting a tad bit irritated with Kim’s thirstiness. I wanna know Kim’s motives too. What could she honestly gain from being BFFs with Beyonce? Kim can’t sing so why target her? Only reasons I can think of is Kim wants Jay and/or Pimpstress Kris is making her get real close so Kris can get in good with Mama Bey (yeah that ain’t happening!).

Can Beyonce get a restraining order against this little girl? And if Kim keeps pushing Bey, Solange and Mama Bey will go in on the girl; put her in her place real quick. Kim’s legitimacy in anything is so slim I really don’t understand how she can look herself in the mirror with all that fakeness. Why would you want to build a brand off of b.s. and screwing? I will say this for Beyonce “Kim, you ain’t about this life!”
