30 Minute Meals: Valentine’s Day Recipe Ideas
12 craft sticks
1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/3 cup packed light brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 egg
2 cups all-purpose flour

1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
12 (1 ounce) squares white chocolate
1 egg white
1 1/4 cups confectioners’ sugar
3 drops red food coloring
|
1. | Soak craft sticks for one hour in a bowl of cold water. |
2. | In small heavy saucepan over very low heat, stir chocolate chips until melted and smooth. Remove from heat; let cool. |
3. | In large bowl with electric mixer at medium speed, beat butter, brown sugar and vanilla until fluffy. Beat egg in well; beat in cooled chocolate. With mixer at low speed, beat in flour, cocoa powder and salt until smooth. Divide dough in half. |
4. | Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) and grease 2 large cookie sheets. |
5. | Roll each half out to 1/8 inch thickness between 2 sheets of wax paper; freeze, in wax paper, 5 minutes. Peal top sheets of wax paper off dough; cut dough out using 3-inch heart-shaped cutter. Reroll scraps; freeze again 5 minutes; cut out. Place half of the hearts 1 inch apart on prepared cookie sheet. |
6. | Drain sticks, pat dry. Place one stick on each heart to make 2 1/2 inch handle, pressing lightly into dough. Place remaining hearts on top; press edges gently to seal. Bake about 12 minutes until firm to touch. Cool on wire racks. |
7. | In 2-quart heavy saucepan over very low heat, or in top of double boiler set over barely simmering water, stir white or milk chocolate until melted and smooth; if using both chocolates, melt in separate 1-quart pans. Remove from heat. |
8. | Holding each lollipop by handle, dip into chocolate to coat on both sides; let excess |

30 Minute Meals: Valentine’s Day Recipe Ideas
This delicious twist is a great addition to a luscious meal between you and your lover this Valentines day! It’s pretty and fragrant and taste Oh so juicy and delicious!

“Thin chicken breasts are topped with an herbed, cheesy stuffing with dried cherries, rolled up, then rolled again in slices of prosciutto. The balsamic pan sauce, while optional, is a perfect finish to these delectable bites.”
INGREDIENTS:
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1/3 cup dried cherries, chopped
1/4 cup plain bread crumbs
1 egg yolk
1 1/2 tablespoons finely grated
Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese
2 teaspoons olive oil
1 teaspoon fresh thyme
1 teaspoon fresh oregano, minced
2 cloves garlic, minced
salt and pepper to taste
1 pinch cayenne pepper
2 (6 ounce) skinless, boneless chicken
breast halves
4 thin slices prosciutto
3/4 cup chicken broth
1 1/2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
1 tablespoon butter
salt and pepper to taste
DIRECTIONS:
1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
2. Brush the inside of an oven-proof skillet with vegetable oil. Set aside.
3. Mix cherries, bread crumbs, egg yolk, Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese, olive oil, thyme, oregano, garlic, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper until combined.
4. Cut a 1-inch slit in each chicken breast by slicing at an angle from the thick end of the breast toward the thinner end.
5. Open flap and place one butterflied chicken breast between two sheets of heavy plastic (resealable freezer bags work well) on a solid, level surface. Firmly pound chicken with the smooth side of a meat mallet to a thickness of 1/2-inch. Repeat with the other breast.
6. Place half the stuffing on each chicken breast, place each breast on a piece of plastic wrap and roll into a tight roll, twisting the ends of the plastic wrap to hold create a tight package.
7. On a piece of plastic wrap, slightly overlap 2 slices of prosciutto so they are as wide as the rolled chicken breast. Unwrap rolled chicken breast and place the breast at one end of the prosciutto. Roll prosciutto around the stuffed breast using

30 Minute Meals: Perfect Valentine’s Day Recipe Ideas

20 fresh strawberries
1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
2 tablespoons chopped walnuts or pecans

1 1/2 tablespoons confectioners’ sugar
Chocolate sauce or melted chocolate chips any (variety)

1 | Dice two strawberries and set aside. Cut the stems off of each of the remaining strawberries, forming a base for strawberries to stand on. Starting at the pointed ends and cutting most of the way, but not completely through the stem end, slice each strawberry into four wedges. |

Beat the cream cheese until fluffy; stir in the diced strawberries, walnuts, and powdered sugar. Spoon or pipe about a teaspoon of mix into each strawberry.
Drizzle with chocolate Refrigerate until ready to serve. |

To carry on with my Valentine’s Day ideas. I had to give one for the shrimp lovers out there. This perfect pasta meal will leave your tummy satisfied and warm you up for some desert! |
Sexy Shrimp Scampi

30 medium shrimp - peeled
and deveined
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons butter, melted

2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black
pepper

1. | Preheat an oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). |
2. | Toss the shrimp in a bowl with the olive oil, melted butter, garlic, salt, and pepper; set aside for 10 minutes. Arrange the shrimp in a circular pattern in a round casserole dish. |
3. | Bake in the preheated oven until the shrimp are pink and cooked through, about 15 minutes. |
You’ll fine that with this meal you can make your dinner as romantic as you want. You can feed each other shrimp and even do the classic “Lady and the Tramp” scene but end yours with a kiss of course.
Umm maybe not, unless it’s a peck. You’ll have food in your mouth…yuk! Better save the kissing for later.Any way Enjoy!

30 Minute Meals: Perfect Valentine’s Day Recipe Ideas
I’m a lover. I love all holidays. I really get into the themes of the holidays. We have Valentine’s Day coming up so I decided to revisit my 30 Minute Meal Blog to share some Recipes with you for the holiday. Some will be for the kids and others will be perfect for an intimate dinner for you and your mate Valentine’s night! I hope these give you some good ideas for your special night. So let’s start with the hors d’oeuvre.

4 (6 ounce) filet mignon steaks
1 (16 ounce) bottle Italian dressing
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese

1/4 cup minced jalapeno pepper
20 slices thinly sliced bacon
|
1. | Slice the steaks into 1/2-inch wide strips. Pound the strips to about half their original thickness. Place the steak in a bowl; pour the Italian dressing over the meat; allow to marinate at least 2 hours. |
2. | Mix together the cream cheese and jalapeno pepper in a bowl; set aside. Remove the strips from the marinade and lay out on a flat surface. Spread about 1 teaspoon of the cream cheese mixture on each strip. |
3. | Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat and lightly oil grate. |
4. | Remove the strips from the marinade and lay on a flat surface. Spread about 1 teaspoon of the cream cheese mixture on each strip. Fold the meat around the cream cheese mixture to form a ball. Wrap each ball with a slice of bacon. Secure bacon with water-soaked toothpicks or metal skewers. |
5. | Cook on preheated grill until steak is no longer pink, about 4 minutes per side |
