Welcome to Urban Image Magazine

One is the main goals here at Urban Image Magazine has always been to provide an outlet for those of you who may not have access to the traditional main stream media outlets, or the money to afford TV and radio ads, and consequently don’t really have a voice. Urban Image Magazine would like to provide that voice for you, that media outlet, where your talents can flourish and be heard… but do know, that you will be judged by your peers first here at UIM, the real people!  Find out, first hand whether you’re REALLY as good as you think you are!

Here are the only rules (PLEASE FOLLOW CLOSELY), or your track will NOT be entered.

* Track must be 5 mins or less in total runtime

*Track MUST BE in mp3 format

*You CAN include CD cover images if you like

UIM’s Talent Search 2013,

Are your demo tracks not being listened to? …You keep reaching out, but nobody has the time to listen? Tired of offering free CD demo’s to people waiting to pump their gas, because you have no other way to distribute it? We have an outlet for you!

“5 mins or less” (mp3 format only) music demo tracks are now being accepted for our upcoming July “Bring the Talent” contest. Can you Bring It? If you think you’ve got what it takes, submit your track to: [email protected]. (Select your track carefully!) Only 1 track will be submitted per entry contestant.

Tracks will be available for listening, and to and vote on at urbanimagemagazine.com starting July 1^st, 2013. Your track will first be judged by your peers in a “thumbs up, thumbs down” rating competition. If your track gets the most votes by month’s end 7/31/13, you (your group) will be featured on UIM the following month (Aug) as the winner of our Talent Search contest.
