According to CNN, things turned violent at a party Chris Brown was throwing when 3 people were shot, 1 of which was the infamous Suge Knight, who was shot 6 times.
Former rap mogul Marion “Suge” Knight was among the wounded, a sheriff’s deputy confirmed.
The suspect remains unknown, but the victims include a 49-year-old male, widely reported as music producer Marion (Suge) Knight, as well as two unnamed victims, a 32-year-old male and a 19-year-old female. All the victims were transported to local hospitals and are expected to recover.
While the 25-year-old R&B singer is said to have been the intended target, it was Knight who took the heat along with the two other victims,reports TMZ.
All three victims, two men and a woman, are expected to recover from their gunshot wounds, Deputy Jeff Gordon told CNN.
The shooting happened inside the 1 Oak club on Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood at 1:30 a.m., Gordon said.
Brown posted a tweet after the incident: “It’s disappointing that we as a society can’t have fun or enjoy ourselves without any altercations sometimes. Miss me with the bulls**t!!!”
Brown was hosting the party as a celebration of the MTV Video Music Awards, which will be held in Los Angeles on Sunday.
