It’s official not guilty is the verdict. weather you agree or not ask yourself can our nation recover from crimes & verdicts or this nature. It’s sad to see the life of a young black man ended in violence. Trayvon’s gone can we come together. Honestly no we won’t be able to come together. Everyone is looking at this from one side. Like it or not this man has gotten away with murder. First of all he is a neighborhood watchman. Not a police officer. Second of all he was off duty not suppose to have a fire arm. Third he continued to follow Trayvon when the authorities told him not to. If that’s not A reason to be charged with murder I don’t know what is. What was Trayvon suppose to do run home & have Zimmerman jump in his car & follow him there.
If it was in Hollywood & a young white man looked suspicious & the neighborhood watchman was a off duty black man. Would he get a not guilty verdict. Race has a big part in everything we do. You can fool yourself & thing color don’t matter but your wrong. How many times we see Arabs & other suspicious looking races at the airport & we say to our self. Awh shit they look like terrorist. We judge each other by the color of our skin. So our justice system does the same. How can justice be blind if we are looking thru our eye’s & not the eyes of justice. It’s sad to say but in a way we all knew he would walk away. It’s time we stop letting others walk all over us & fight. We had to fight to vote, fight for equal right. So why in the fuck you would think you didn’t have to fight for justice.
Now i’ll admit this shit is getting outta hand with all the hateful tweets, facebook posting & crazy comments from each side. The land of the free that’s such bullshit. We came together as a nation during nine eleven. We came together during the Boston bombings. We came together after the violence from the D.C Sniper. Our troops came together to fight for our nation. But once again a crime has a way of dividing us as a people & revealing our true feeling & emotions. What do you tell your child when they hear a child was killed coming home. How do you explain that A armed man felt he was endanger & had no choice but to kill that other person. How do you explain it. Who’s at fault. How can we teach our kids violence is not the answer when it’s all around us. How can we teach our children to respect each other , when we secretly despise each other.
How can we rebuild when we can’t forget. How can we move forward when our system of love is blind to justice. Obama claimed it was time for change during his first election. But i’m hear to say nothing has changed. In my opinion Obama hasn’t done nothing but con us all. He maybe the only black president we will ever have & his accomplishments won’t mean shit if he can help his race. In fact if he doesn’t make a effort to help the black community. Then we will be the only race who had the opportunity to force change but failed to do so. Cut the bullshit if we don’t fix our communities & our neighborhoods then no one else will. If we don’t care what happens in our community then no one else will. Here we have a black president that can’t help his community. Where’s the justice. What’s going on. it’s bigger than Trayvon & Zimmerman. We been dealing with these issues for the beginning of time.e are like a volcano & we are about to explode when that happens who side will justice be on. When all hell breaks loose will the laws of our land be enough to execute justice or will it ignite more rage & violence. Can our nation rebuild when it’s roots were founded on racism & other races being anything but equal.

Man, does November 2008 seem like centuries ago ? Wasn’t it amazing to see a black president elected with his black wife and children soon to live in the nations Capitol as POTUS and family? Something we thought would never have been seen in our lifetime was live and in the flesh. But with the passing of time some may think Barack Obama may have been the worst thing to happen to black Americans since the cotton gin. Situations have occurred that can leave serious questions in the hearts of the most devout of Obama supporters. The problems that have occurred, if they’d occurred during the Bush administration, would have made many black people yell racism.
I rooted for this man as he was campaigning. I saw the dynamic of him running against a white woman and after listening to him speak I thought “hey this guy is different.”. So from Atlanta I send in my absentee ballot.
Yeah, what in the hell was I thinking ?
The first signals something could be wrong was when i asked Obama supporters, “how he was doing?” And they all had the same answer, “he’s doing fine”. I’d always follow up with but what about black unemployment being at least double that of whites they’d say “he’s only one man”, “or Congress is holding him back”, “Bush messed it up for him its gonna take two terms”. I wouldn’t have had a problem with it or could have understood if I didn’t hear this from every Obama supporter. His constituents were like a new kind of political zombie ,only difference is the Obamabots had their brains eaten, but managed to survive.
On July 1 student loan rates doubled from 3.4% to 6.8%. In what United Negro College Fund President Michael Lomax calls a “nasty surprise” , the Obama administration “has begun denying student loans to disproportionately large numbers of black parents because of blemished credit histories.” In the past year, for historically black colleges and universities (HCBU’s), the Obama administration’s policies have led to a 36 percent drop in the volume of parent loans. That translated into an annual cut of more than $150 million. Remember this slogan “Change we can believe in”. He must have been talking about nickels and dimes as the change because these sudden denials seem like the same old thing. On top of the cuts and rate increase he recently went to Morehouse College; a highly esteemed historically black institution for higher learning to make a commencement speech. In that speech Obama told that Morehouse class of 2013′s graduating black men “there is no time for excuses”. He didn’t say this to incarcerated persons -this was said to young men who battled through whatever they had to and graduated. He also told them “nothing will be handed to them”. Well duh! Mr.Obama, black people did not expect handouts. What we did expect is a black man to see black people negatively effected by policy pointed at them. We expected you to not allow a segment of the population to continuously be disproportionately effected or dying from preventable diseases.
The hypocrisy of American democracy is to allow/accelerate a sector of its people to not live in relative equality with the masses.
To perpetuate the servitude of its poor citizens.

When you are making a tearful apology you cannot make statements like Paula Deen, “I is who I is and I ain’t changing.” That statement insinuates that you still think that we be niggers. I have had employment in places where I was called “nigger” and “black b” on the regular but it was not by my employer. I know who I am therefore those words don’t sting me like they would someone else. The issue is did Paula Deen break the law. Her staff is alleging that not only did Paula and her brother use the word nigger but they also made them use a bathroom that was outside, they weren’t promoted and they were paid low wages, they had to use a separate entrance, etc. There are laws against this type of treatment. At the deposition Paula Deen admitted to saying nigger.
Now, if the allegations are true I don’t care how you smack it up, spin it or rub it down it is clearly the behavior of a racist. Honestly, I don’t own a pot nor pan, nor do I have a recipe or anything that has Paula Deen’s name on it…I’m more of a Garvin and Neely type chick. She was grooming her sons to take over the bizness when she retired…that hurt them and her legacy. Unfortunately, society bleeds green and hits you in your pocket when you mess up… but that ain’t the hard part. Paula missed the point… you see, when you don’t get the lesson the first time around you’re destined to repeat it. These lessons are meant to build character and change us but she is who she is and she ain’t changing! You tell me, who’s the real nigger???
Warning: if you are known to roll your eyes and suck your teeth at articles claiming the race card then get prepared to do it now.
What a way to start a post huh?
Sixteen year old Kiera Wilmot wanted to do some science experimenting so she mixed two chemicals together in a bottle. Well the result was not what she expected. The contents bubbled up immediately then burst. No one was hurt and unfortunately there were no science teacher around to monitor the experiment. However the police were called anyway and young Kiera was taken away in handcuffs with students and the principal wondering why.
Kiera cooperated with the administration, she never tried to hide what she did and yet she was escorted in handcuffs, she will be tried as an adult and expelled from Bartow High School. In order to get her diploma she will have to finish through the expulsion program.
With all of the threats and horrific violence happening in schools and terrorism I get that we are on the edge and want to keep everyone safe but do they honestly think this was appropriate for a girl who has never been in trouble in school or with the law?! This is not the point of the no tolerance rule. Because this child is black they are making a mockery of her and because of her curiousity she will be labeled for life! What do you think? Before you answer that check these statistics.
The Civil Rights Data Collections did a study in 2009-2010 school year. Seventy-two thousand schools were used in the study in seven thousand school district. Eighteen percent of the students were black in the schools studied. Out of that:
-35% of the blacks were suspended once
-46% of the blacks were suspended more than once and
-39% were out of school due to expulsion
I hate pulling the race card because there are so many that due to the point no one wants to listen anymore however I really think this was unfair and this black girl is getting an unfair punishment due to her color. I mean what great (and not so great) scientist haven’t blown up something? That is how you learn? This just tells black students to squash trying to learn about things in the classroom. The government and police can swoop in on a botched accident that was clearly a mistake but let radicalists marinate on the terrorist list, learn our weaknesses and then use them to create fatal casualties huh?! Way to go Bartow police department! You have your priorities straight.
Now what do my readers think?
And if you want to contact the school district to voice your opinion since this girl cannot call 1-863-534-0500. If you want to call their police department here is their number 1-863-534-5034.
Peace and luv!

Four African Americans are suing Siemens Factory for racism. Barry Murphy who has been with the company since 1966 finally broke down and blew the whistle on Siemens after another coworker Welder Daniels spotted a noose hanging from the ceiling in the locker room back in January. A representative of Siemens confessed to not seeing who placed the noose when he looked at the security cameras and even asked Mr. Daniels was he the one that placed it there. See that would have made me grab that person and put that noose around their neck. What kind of stupid question is that? Where was the empathy? At least pretend like you give a damn.
This wasn’t the first outrageous incident. Back in 2010 another black employee said he was walking to his tool cabinet when he nearly got his leg cut off when a metal shank sliced his leg. He went to higher management to place a report and they threatened him with a ‘stop complaining or you will be a victim of friendly fire!’ response. Sometime later the same supervisor told him he was surprised that he was still alive.
Sometimes I honestly wish we were back in the days where the ‘no colored’ signs were around. At least then we knew where we stood with whites. Not that I’m surprised that stuff like this is still going on but come on people it’s 2012! Whites are not even the majority anymore and who is even 100% pure of one race? Do racist whites realize this was all one piece of land called Africa and we were all born from a sista? Just sayin’. They might want to read up on that. Anywho the brothas who are suing the company still works for them. I do hope that they get a nice little settlement; the damage is done with the verbal abuse so that will not change but I hope the best for these brothas.
Peace and luv!
