Phil Mushnick, a NY Post writer, put his foot and his behind in his mouth recently when he said that the Brooklyn Nets should be called the “New York Niggers” because of Jay-Z owning the team.

“As long as the Nets are allowing Jay-Z to call their marketing shots — what a shock that he chose black and white as the new team colors to stress, as the Nets explained, their new “urban” home — why not have him apply the full Jay-Z treatment?

Why the Brooklyn Nets when they can be the New York N——s? The cheerleaders could be the Brooklyn B—-hes or Hoes. Team logo? A 9 mm with hollow-tip shell casings strewn beneath. Wanna be Jay-Z hip? Then go all the way!”

Not only do I blame this racist piece of dirt but I blame the editors for either dropping the ball or rolling with this crap.  The comment was entirely uncalled for and best believe there’s going to be a backlash behind this.  Twitter is already on fire about it.

If you’ve convinced yourself that racism doesn’t exist anymore… allow this post to enlighten you.  Your personal opinions may be your own, but publicizing them in this manner is tacky, tasteless and flat out racist to a supreme level.  I hope his email/social pages get flooded… jerk…

However, that fame had come with a price. On April 19th, Edwards was arrested.

The police log reads that at 8:14 pm “2500 block Washington Ave., Tashay D. Edwards, 19, 100 blocks Spring St., arrested and charged with assault and violation of a temporary protection order. A woman, who said she has had ongoing problems with Edwards, said Edwards repeatedly punched her and ripped her shirt off.” The video does not depict a woman have her shirt ripped off.

It both saddens and disgusts me to see the power the world has given Twitter, Facebook and other social media sites.  From Evelyn Lozado – very grown woman- to this teenager, people are letting the words of others affect them to the point that they are no longer in control of their emotions.

What makes the situation so disparaging is that Twitter and any other site can be logged off of, and offensive posts erased/blocked.

One wonders why the victim didn’t simply close the door when Edwards stated quite clearly that she wanted to fight.  My guess she was trying to dissolve the issue before it went any further, but she obviously didn’t get the chance.

The girls accompanying Edwards should be arrested as well for that premeditated assault. Nothing has been heard from any of the parents involved and it makes me wonder about accountability for these young girls pretending to be grown.

Let this be a lesson to parents and children everywhere: 15 minutes of fame is more expensive than you think.  Years more expensive….AND BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU POST ONLINE…

Twitter and the rest of the net has been on fire with activity since the performance and I had chills myself…

A grand jury had been set to meet Tuesday in Sanford, about 20 miles northeast of Orlando.

Corey has long had a reputation for not using grand juries if it wasn’t necessary. In Florida, only first-degree murder cases require the use of grand juries.

Corey’s decision means she doesn’t have to rely on potentially unpredictable jurors, said David Hill, an Orlando criminal defense attorney.

“Let’s give her the benefit of the doubt. Maybe she knows there isn’t enough for first-degree murder but she wants to maintain control and charge him with something else,” Hill said. “What does she need a grand jury for? She cuts out the unpredictability of the grand jury. She goes where she feels she has more evidence.”

Corey took over the case last month after the prosecutor who normally handles cases out of Sanford recused himself. That prosecutor, Norm Wolfinger, had originally called for the case to be presented before a grand jury.

“From the moment she was assigned, Ms. Corey noted she may not need a grand jury,” said a statement from Corey’s office.

Prosecutors sometimes use grand juries to avoid the political fallout from controversial cases. But Corey was elected by voters more than 100 miles away in the Jacksonville area, so political problems are less of an issue for Corey, Hill said.

Martin was killed Feb. 26 during a confrontation with Zimmerman in a gated community in Sanford.

Zimmerman has claimed self-defense, and Florida’s self-defense law gives wide leeway to use deadly force and eliminates a person’s duty to retreat in the face of danger.

Zimmerman’s attorney, Craig Sonner, said he didn’t want to comment on Corey’s decision.

An attorney for Martin’s parents said in a statement that he is not surprised by the decision to avoid the grand jury and hopes a decision is reached soon.

“The family has been patient throughout this process and asks that those who support them do the same during this very important investigation,” said attorney Benjamin Crump.

The case has led to protests across the nation and spurred a debate about race and the laws of self-defense.

On a disgusting side note, George Zimmerman has set up a website soliciting funds to pay for defense….really? REALLY??!

This whole thing has gotten completely out of hand.

List of untruths:

1. Prominent conservative websites published fake photos of Martin. Twitchy, a new website run by prominent conservative blogger Michelle Malkin, promoted a photo — purportedly from Martin’s Facebook page — that shows Martin in saggy pants and flipping the bird. The photo, which spread quickly on conservative websites and Twitter, is intended to paint Martin as a thug. As Twitchy later acknowledged, it is not a photo of Trayvon Martin. [Examiner]

2. The Sanford Police selectively leaked irrelevant, negative information about Martin. The authorities told the Orlando Sentinel this morning that Trayvon was suspended from school for ten days “after being found with an empty marijuana baggie.” There is no evidence that Martin was under the influence of drugs at the time of his death, nor would prior possession of marijuana be a reason for killing him. It’s unclear what the relevance of the leak was, other than to smear Martin. [Orlando Sentinel]

3. On Fox News, Geraldo said that Martin was dressed “like a wannabe gangster.” Bill O’Reilly agreed with him. The sole evidence is that Martin was wearing a hoodie. Geraldo added that “everyone that ever stuck up a convenience store” was wearing a hoodie. [ThinkProgress; The Blaze]

4. Without any evidence, prominent right-wing bloggers suggested that Martin was a drug dealer. Right-wing blogger Dan Riehl advances the theory, also advanced in a widely linked peice on a site called Wagist. There does not appear to be any evidence to support this claim whatsoever. [Riehl World View]

5. Without any evidence, a right-wing columnist alleged that Martin assaulted a bus driver. Unlike Zimmerman, Trayvon has no documented history of violence. This allegation continues to be advanced by a blogger on the Examiner even after the real reason was leaked to the police and confirmed by the family. [Miami Herald; Examiner]

6. Zimmerman’s friend says Martin was to blame because he was disrespectful to Zimmerman. Zimmerman’s friend Joe Oliver said that Martin would not have been shot to death if Trayvon had just said “I’m staying with my parents.” Of course, Zimmerman was not a police officer, and Trayvon had no duty to tell him who he was or where he was going. Martin’s devastated mother, Sybrina Fulton, said, “They killed my son, now they’re trying to kill his reputation.”

The final, disrespectful part of the effort to smear Trayvon Martin is to link him and his supporters to  fringe groups like the New Black Panthers and marginal provocateurs like Louis Farrakhan. Threats by these groups have nothing to do with Martin or his supporters. The leader of the effort to associate Martin with these groups is Matt Drudge. This whole issue is absolutely out of pocket especially since a killer is walking the streets, no matter what his half-assed reasons are for being one.  Be it homicide, manslaughter or self -defense (whatever -_-) , the fact that he hasn’t even been brought in at all is setting the country off. A murderer is a murderer is a murderer, and the ones throwing all these lies around about someone unable to defend himself make me sick to my stomach.

Well…the couple have been dating for 4 years, so I don’t know who’s really delusional. Especially after the very public gift Doronin gave Naomi: a beautiful house on an island…

Yeah, I guess that make a wife a little salty, too.  However, Naomi has no one to blame for the drama but herself, being that she knew her boo was still technically married.  He certainly had the time and money to divorce his wife, and is most likely holding out due to the huge amount he’s going to have to dish out to his wife.

Now, I watched the premire, and it was very clear DMX had no clue he was going to have to remain on set or have to share a room with his estranged wife, giving validity to Tasharra’s story.  The two seemed to have been manipulated by the station to pull in the audience that would tune in to watch a rap superstar, as they are the only African American couple on the show.  Hopefully the show will do the couple some good, because this isn’t just reality, this is REAL LIFE these people are playing with. Shame VH1…

The infant, Delric Waymon Miller IV, died of AK-47 shots fired into his home on the city’s west side.

Founded in 2010, Detroit 300 is a coalition of citizens, groups and businesses who say they are dedicated to deterring crime by tracking down suspected criminals.

The organization’s president, Raphael B. Johnson, said members plan to hunt down those responsible for Miller’s death and bring them to justice. Because the incident allegedly involved gang activity, the group plans to target local gangs.

“We don’t care what gang, crew or clique you claim. When you kill babies in this city, you are our enemy,” said Johnson.

However, the police have decided to investigate some of the members of the very active group, who had leads on the case.

The investigation includes two serious allegations including that two women may have information about the gang that could be behind the unsolved murder of nine-month-old Delric Miller and that volunteers went too far when they interviewed those women inside the precinct.

The February shooting into a house that killed the nine-month-old is believed to be over rival gangs. Several shots were fired from an assault rifle that killed the baby as he slept on the couch.

In this case, two Detroit 300 members contacted two women to follow up on leads they received working the streets.

“They invited them to go to an open space at Fairlane Mall, specifically the food court,” said Detroit 300 President Angelo Henderson.

The two women insisted on meeting at the Northwestern District police station in Detroit. According to a Detroit 300 spokesperson, the women and the two volunteers were led by police through the front door into a garage, which is not open to the public. How that happened is now part of an internal police investigation. But the conversation also got heated.

“She has four strong connections and in some cases information, videos and pictures. How can you say you’re not (involved)? And they’re like how did you get that, how did you get that?” said Henderson.

According to Henderson, the only mistake his volunteers made was conducting their interview inside a police precinct.

“The police station was not the place to have the conversation,” said Henderson.

Henderson also said they will turn over their information to police. Meantime, a police spokesperson said they are looking into what these volunteers did and if they have obstructed justice they could be charged.

The police investigation into the murder of nine-month-old Delric Miller has only led to a person of interest arrested nearby on a gun charge.m -MSNBC

Bossip: Obviously, most people have read the story today about what is going on between you and your father. Can you tell us where the heavy tension comes from?

Bria: Acutally, I have no idea where that is coming from, I never asked him for any money, and definitely not college tuition, I don’t know where that started.

Bossip: So they just made that up?

Bria: Yeah, that’s completely made up. It all started because he was on the Wendy Williams show last Tuesday. I didn’t watch it but I got several calls that my dad was on the show. He has two daughters which is by his wife, and I have a sister that lives California that is not by his wife. People are bashing me, basically this has been going on for 18 years. People think that it’s about money. This has been going on my whole life, and I am tired of being disrespected. I am tired of my little sister being disrespected that’s why I am putting it out there.

Bossip: Do you feel like he wasn’t claiming you, or he was denying you?

Bria: I feel like he was trying to hide me

Bossip: How old is your little sister?

Bria: She is 12 years old, and she lives in California

Bossip: And what is her name?

Bria: Makayla

Bossip: So you are tired of him trying to hide you?

Bria: I am tired of being disrespected, me and my little sister, that’s why I put it on Twitter, I said my dad has more than 2 kids. He called the house phone and he was making threats “Bri, you better not leave the house, or be in my city.” Just being violent, his behavior was terrible. He called from Wednesday 11:00 at night until Thursday 8:00 in the morning non-stop. He called and texted my phone, the calls were threatening. But when he called he was making jokes about it, like you need to watch me on TV, childish comments.

Bossip: When you say he has a history of violence, is it between just you or your siblings, or your mother?

Bria: Everyone in general he is been know for punching people.

Bossip: Right, we remember the incident a few years ago with the paparazzi taking pictures of him in the restaurant.

Bria: He is a violent person in general, he is always making threats against me, my mother, his wife. He has made threats against everyone in his life.

Bossip: Do you feel like any of this is associated with drugs or is this his personality?

Bria: I think it’s both, I think the drugs has a lot to do with his behavior but he has bipolar disorder and schizophrenia, he has admitted he doesn’t take his medicine, and his behavior definitely stems from that plus the drug use.

Bossip: Right, so this all just aggravated the situation. When was the last time you guys had any interaction, like face to face?

Bria: Last time I saw him was at the Superbowl, and I haven’t spoken to him since then.

Bossip: Was it bad then or is something that switches up, where it’s good, and then bad?

Bria: Our relationship has always been rocky. There is times where we have good times, then the next minute I don’t want to have anything to do with him or talk to him, He has put my mom through a lot of things and we just haven’t had a relationship my whole life and when he came for the Superbowl that’s when things started to get rocky because his wife doesn’t like his kids before his marriage. She does crazy things, like she doesn’t like to have anything to do with us. She doesn’t want him to have anything to do with us, and that’s what I was getting tired of and that’s why I took it to the media because I was tired of hiding it. The reason why he doesn’t claim us is because of her and he has even admitted that.

Bossip: So you feel like she is the mastermind behind a lot of his anger and the reasoning behind why he is denying you?

Bria: Definitely, he has even admitted that it’s because of his wife. He will say “I can’t do this because of my wife.”

Bossip: So, in so many words you are saying he is p***y whipped.

Bria: Very much so, he is the definition of that. I also know that I have another sister in Atlanta. My dad has a 5 and 6 year old with his wife, and he has a 3 year old with a stripper in Atlanta, named Leah.
The woman’s name is Leah but the daughters name is River, she’s three years old and he had her while he was with his current wife. He is just really violent and doesn’t claim his kids he is a dead beat, he is a complete dead beat.

Bossip: Outside this rockiness of the relationship, does he support you with school or any extracurricular activities? Does he
provide any type of child support, or are you basically supported by just your mom?

Bria: My mom has never taken him to court, so when he does things it just because he feels like doing it, or when he feels obligated to do it. I have never been the type to ask him for money or say he needs to do it, because I know he’s not going to do it and if he doesn’t do it my mom will do it, or my grandparents will do it because they have it. He has never been to child support court or no one has ever had to make him pay. He has given some money here and there but it hasn’t been a lot. Like I said it’s been 18 years and my mother has never tried to get child support, so if he didn’t pay he wouldn’t get in trouble by
anyone.

Bossip: We appreciate you talking with us today, is there anything you want to say to the people with mixed emotions on Twitter? There were some people who thought your dad was funny and were fans, but now a lot of people have lost a lot of respect for him. There are others that are saying you are being a brat and you are spoiled, what would you say to those accusations?

Bria: I hope I resolved the false accusations. The only thing that I could say is that they don’t know the true story. Those are the people that don’t know the true story and they are ignorant. If I am a spoiled brat or whatever there is no reason why you should talk to your child like that. Your father is suppose to be the one that says “Don’t let this person call you this or don’t take that.” Your father is suppose to protect you and he definitely hasn’t done that by what he has said to me. People are saying I just want the attention, or I haven’t got any money, I am not looking for any money, I just want to put it out there who the real Mike Epps is, and how he acts towards me and my other siblings for 18 years that’s all I wanted to do. I am not looking for any attention, people that know me know I don’t want any attention, I never brag and say “Oh I am Mike Epps’ daughter. That doesn’t matter to me. He is no one to me. For people to even to put negative name on me saying I want the money or that I am a spoiled brat, I am not a spoiled brat, I am a very humble, grateful, girl, my dad hasn’t even done enough for me to be ungrateful, my mom has done everything for me, so that’s what I would have to say.

If Brown is arrested, it would be extremely likely that the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office will seek to revoke his probation from his no contest plea of battery on Rihanna.

“Chris wouldn’t need to be convicted in the Miami case to cause problems with his probation, just charged,” the source tells RadarOnline.com. “The conditions of his felony probation are very, very strict. Chris must obey all laws and not be arrested for any other crimes. This could be a huge nightmare for his probation if he is arrested and charged.”

Sigh.  It’s no secret that there are many itching to see Brown behind bars, and he doesn’t seem to have received adequate counseling for his troubled past and temper issues, and he’s probably under all kinds of pressure and stress, having been heavy in the game since he was a teen.  Where is his support system?

Ironically, the only public support system standing up on his teams is : you guessed it.  RHIANNA.

Chris told Rihanna that he absolutely 1000% didn’t steal that phone, and Rihanna has told him she believes him. Rihanna has also told Chris that she will stand by him during the investigation, and whatever the future holds. This was extremely humbling to Chris given their tumultuous past, and he told her how much he appreciated her unwavering support to him, despite the criticism she has endured for recording songs with Chris and welcoming him back into her life.

Rihanna “has made it very clear to everyone around her that she doesn’t want to hear anything negative about Chris. She isn’t interested in listening to the fears her friends have about the the two young singers spending time together,” Radaronline.com source says.
