“Ni**as In Paris For Real”

I don’t have an opinion (damn, someone write that down) on this but I am dying to hear what my readers have to say about it.

So ok we all know Gwyneth Paltrow is besties with Jay and Beyonce. Over the weekend Gwyneth attended Jay’s and Kanye’s concert and later tweeted a pic of her backstage with Kelly Rowland, Bey, Jay, Spike Lee and The Dream with the caption ‘Ni**as in Paris for real’.

Let me say this. I do not accept any white person saying ‘nigger’ or ‘nigga’ around me. We will never be that cool for me to ever allow a white person to fix their lips to say either version. I am slowly realizing that I shouldn’t be saying it myself because at the end of the day it isn’t a healthy word, people say we took the power out of the word however have we really? Reading 90% of the responses on different blogs and websites obviously we have not. People are still going crazy. I remember two years ago this little boy said it to my son, not being malicious or anything but I remember feeling some type of way afterwards. That right there made me realize I probably shouldn’t be saying it. Again I still say it, I have to take baby steps; God didn’t make the earth in a day!

As far as the tweet goes Gwyneth didn’t spell out the whole word so I wanna ask you since it is the name of the tour and song is it ok that she tweeted that?
